A windy day at Doncaster greeted us for Round 2. Thanks to Janice for the honey joys, pre-chicken sandwiches and to Brenda for the banana muffins. We finished 6th on the Premier Division ladder, this time behind Diamond Valley, Eaglehawk, Doncaster, Wendouree and Box Hill. We were only 196 points behind Box Hill.
Scores for many Clubs, including us, were lower this round compared to last week. This could be due to the Melbourne Marathon and the Zone B's location at Casey.
We had 47 athletes, so 14 down from last round. We covered 90 events. 17 athletes did three or more events, 11 did two events and 19 did one event.
We fielded 4 relay teams in the 4x100m and netted an extra handy 1191 points. The Open men (Brayden, Allan F, Pascal & Jacob) scored 390 points, U18 F (Ruth, Tahnee, Lucy & Abby) 364 pts, U18 M (Sunhae, Ethan S, Steven & Emerson) 336 pts and 40+ M (Alan B, Amy, Mal & Michael) 101 pts. Thank-you.
We need a big turn out for Round 3, so please enter multiple events if you are able to.

We had some impressive performances across the State Age Groups. Our Men’s Open MU20 teams both came 4th in the State.
