Athlete of the Month - Alan Baldry

Alan works at Ballarat Christian College and teaches physics and computers. He likes the reliability of Newton’s Laws and, like some of us, grapples with the challenge of keeping up with ever evolving technology.

Alan is one of our 50+ athletes and demonstrates remarkable resilience / durability. He competes in 4 or 5 individual events every round and has the horizontal jumps and nearly every track event covered.

The events he has competed in are: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 3km steeple, 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, long jump and triple jump.

This season Alan has featured in our top-ten point scorers every round. His lowest score is a very creditable 998 and in the other 8 rounds he has scored a 1000 or more points. He averages 1030 points per round.

Congratulations Alan on a terrific season so far.
