Jack Rayner selected for world cross country and places 3rd in Marugame Half Marathon

Coming off dominating the Australian road race scene, winning the Commonwealth Half Marathon championships and placing second at the Zatopek 10,000m; Jack Rayner continued his fine form finishing second at the World Cross Country selection trials at Stromlo Park and securing himself selection in the Australian team.

Jack will join Brett Robinson, Harry Summers, Jack Bruce, Patrick Tiernan and Stewart McSweyn in Denmark on 30 March 2019. Melissa Duncan, Caitlin Adams, Paige Campbell, Emily Brichacek, Marnie Ponton and Leanne Pompeani will represent Australia for the Women.

On 2nd of February 2019, Jack placed 3rd in the Marugame Half Marathon in Japan finishing in 61:36, Joel Tobin-White has a huge breakthrough clocking 62:03 and Sinead Diver also finished 3rd in 68:55 jumping up to #6 all time!
